If you want to make a website, you need two things - your own domain name and a hosting plan for it. The domain registration is the actual website address that you type in a browser to access a site, while the hosting space is where your site files will be. These are 2 closely connected, yet independent services, while many people assume that registering the domain name is enough. Similar to the disk space and the monthly traffic features that a given website hosting plan features, there are a certain number of registered domains that you can include as hosted i.e. you can have the web content for them in some account even when the domains are in fact registered via a different firm. In technical terms, it doesn't matter if a domain name is registered and hosted with the exact same company or is registered with one company and directed to a different one - in either case your sites will function exactly the same way.

Hosted Domains in Cloud Hosting

With our cloud plans you are able to host a different number of domains, regardless of whether you register them with our company or through some other service provider. If you host only a few domains, you will probably use much less resources, so you can go for a lower-end plan, that will also be less expensive. If you want to add more domains in your account later on, you can add extra slots via your hosting Control Panel and keep the current plan or you can upgrade the entire plan and employ the added system resources for the new domain names. Each of the upgrades requires just a couple of mouse clicks and is activated instantly. Since registering and hosting a domain are 2 different things, there's no limit how many domain names you are able to register regardless of the plan you’ve signed up for.

Hosted Domains in VPS Servers

With our VPS plans you will get ample resources at your disposal and since you are going to have your own server, it's only natural that you can host as many domain addresses as you want. You can select among three hosting Control Panels during the signup procedure and depending on your choice there are two different alternatives. If you select our in-house made Hepsia CP, all domain addresses hosted on the server will be handled together through a single account and newly registered domains will be hosted automatically, while if you pick cPanel or DirectAdmin, you'll be able to create an individual account for every single domain and for new registrations you will have to add the domains manually. The second option could be more convenient if you want to provide access to a certain domain to a third party without granting them access to the entire server or other domains hosted on it.
